Musk Daisy Puukko
A traditional form Puukko, the blade has a jacket of handmade pattern-welded nickel and steel, and a carbon steel core made from an antique Swedish file. The handle is Musk Daisy burl and thick leather sourced from an antique drive belt, with bronze spacers and brass bolsters. The sheathe is veg-tanned leather with kangaroo hide lacework. For a puukko it is on the larger side, with a 5 inch long handle and a 6 inch blade. There is a simple elegance to this knife, I'm happy with the way it turned out.
